COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY VOLUNTEER TUTOR CORPS

As the immediacy of COVID-19 persists in New York City and beyond, our lifestyles have undergone dramatic changes. As students at Columbia University, we have witnessed the closure of our campuses and those of other institutions at a time when continuing education has perhaps never been more vital.

Our essential workers are a testament to human resilience and they are each emblems of "New York tough." While they're saving other families, caring for their own becomes more difficult, so we wish to help.

** The gravity of current events has compelled us to think really critically about our roles as CVTC in relation to injustice. We have compiled a list of Children's Book that address race and racism. CVTC is also in the process of creating a social justice oriented class.**
