Can I still register for Session B?
Registration for Session B has CLOSED.
Who can register for the program?
This program is open to youth ages 5-18 in New York City impacted by COVID-19.
How many classes will my child be able to take?
Given the incredibly high demand for our program, every child who signs up for CVTC summer camp can expect to be registered for at least one small-group class per session. However, in addition to small-group classes every session we will be providing a robust schedule of supplementary live streams and a-synchronous activities which can be accessed on our website. What are live-stream classes?
While our campers are enrolled in small-group classes, if they would like more enrichment, we are also offering live-stream classes! Live stream classes cover a variety of topics including art, coding, and science. They are open to all each week and do not require registration or enrollment. Schedule and link here
Can I register my child for a different age group?
If your child is within 6 months of the age cutoff, you may register them in the group that you feel would be the best fit. However, if you would like to register your child for a group that is more than 6 months from their current age, please reach out to us to evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis.
What are the program dates?
CVTC Summer Camp is running two sessions this summer. Session A runs from 6/29 - 7/31 and Session B runs from 8/3 - 8/31. Classes are offered Monday - Friday between 9 AM - 6 PM.
Should my child register for summer camp or for one-on-one tutoring?
Summer camp is a great opportunity for you child to connect with other children and engage in a variety of enrichment and academic classes. However, if your child is looking for more individualized academic support we would recommend that you sign your child up for one-on-one tutoring in addition to / instead of summer camp.
Can I switch my student(s) out of certain classes, or replace them with other classes?
Since Session B has already started, we highly discourage scheduling changes unless an emergency situation comes up. Due to the complicated nature of scheduling, we are unable to accommodate most requests.
I sent an email regarding the summer session. When will I hear back?
Due to high influx of emails, please give us 24 hours to respond. We will respond a soon as we can.
What if I would like to register more than one child?
We would love to have all of your children at camp! However, please make sure to fill out a separate registration form for each of your children.
